Conferences and Events
The CVC is dedicated to enhancing public health through the pursuit of knowledge translation and dissemination. Our organization has the opportunity to do this through participating in and hosting a number of conferences and events each year. Below you will find key information and resources for a selection of past and upcoming events.
Beyond 2000 is a symposium held each year in conjunction with the Canadian Cardiovascular Congress. The 2016 Symposium was comprised of two sequential sessions – the first exploring the increasingly common and important subjects of atrial fibrillation (AFib) and heart failure (HF), and the second aimed at the traditional topic of acute coronary syndromes (ACS).
Please visit www.beyond2000.org to register and gain access to the 2016 resources, as well as valuable archived material from the Beyond 2000 symposia of prior years.
The ACC Rockies Meeting is held yearly in Banff, Alberta. The objective of the meeting is to enhance clinicians’ knowledge through a combination of key presentations from recognized national and international opinion leaders combined with interactive case based discussion, question and answer periods, and knowledge translation workshops.
