Congratulations to CVC Founding Director Dr. Paul W. Armstrong on being appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada.
Established in 1967, the Order of Canada is one of the country’s highest civilian honours. It recognizes outstanding achievement, dedication to the community and service to the nation from peoples across all sectors of Canadian society.
Dr. Armstrong received the honour in recognition of “his contributions to the advancement of cardiology, notably for his pioneering research in acute cardiac care, and for his leadership in health care institutions.”
